GENEVA – The extremist group of Islamic State (ISIS) has called on its followers to “fight and kill” teachers in France, claiming they are “taking away Muslim children who simply intend on joining the Caliphate” by teaching pupils secular education.

In an article published by the French-Language propaganda magazine Dar Al Islam, ISIS urged its followers to attack teachers under the pretext they were “taking Muslim children away from their parents” in “open warfare against the Muslim family”.

“It is therefore an obligation to fight and kill these enemies of Allah,” the extremist group said.

“As for social services who tear Muslim children away from their family to entrust them with nonbelievers and destroy what Muslims hold most dear to them after religion…we encourage our brothers on the ground to hit them as hard as possible.”

Two teachers have been stabbed by pro-ISIS jihadists. This comes just a month after the ISIS-led terror attacks on France that have killed 130 people and wounded more than 300 others.

A male nursery teacher was stabbed in the Parisian suburb of Aubervilliers by a jihadist shouting “This is for the Islamic State… this is a warning, this is only the beginning”.

The French police, who have been hunting the perpetrator, said in a statement that no children were present during the attack.

Also, a Jewish teacher was stabbed in Marseille by three ISIS-inspired attackers, one of them was reportedly wearing an ISIS t-shirt during the attack.

Both victims were hardly injured, but they have reportedly survived the attacks.
